Greenvolt, the renewables company with Portuguese DNA founded by energy entrepreneur João Manso Neto in 2002, has sold its 231MW eolic and solar portfolio in Spain for €195 million.

The sale of the 28 projects was done through a partnership with Green Mind Ventures and the buyer is Transiziona, part of White Summit Capital.

The sale contract also included the future sale of projects with a total capacity of 145 MW that have yet to become operational and a platform with a Greenfield portfolio with an additional capacity of 86MW.

The group also mentioned that this agreement arose following a number of recent asset rotation transactions recently announced in the Utility-Scale, with a total value of €530 million.

The Greenvolt Group, which is currently part of the KKR portfolio, said: “This transaction in Spain, which follows the recent sales of assets in Poland, clearly demonstrates Greenvolt’s ability to develop large-scale renewable projects in various phases and with different technologies.”
