Bright Pixel co-leads €6.9 million investment round in US startup Brij
Portugal’s Sonae’s venture capital arm Bright Pixel has co-led an investment round of €6.9 million in the US startup Brij that has developed an AI powered platform to help brands and companies to leverage its omnichannel strategy.
“Brij is redefining the way brands and customers interact in offline channels, allowing them to have greater control of the customer relationship and collect their own data through offline channels,” says Francisco Nunes. “We are very excited to support Brij as they continue to expand and lead the way in omnichannel empowerment,” said the head of Bright Pixel Capital, quoted in a statement.
With this round, co-led with CEAS Investments, and which involved the participation of Artemis Fund, Red Bike Capital, Lakehouse Ventures, Forum Ventures and SuperAngel.Fund, together with consumer brand strategic investors like Caraway, Brunt Workwear and Feastables – the goal is to “accelerate the development of the startup’s product, including investments in AI capacity, accelerating its growth through investments in sales resources and marketing, and deepening strategic partnerships in the ecosystem.”
“When brands sell through retailers, they lose the relationship with the end customer, which is a disconnect worth billions of dollars,” says Kait Stephens, CEO and co-founder of Brij.
“Consumers shop omnichannel, but customer data ownership has historically been siloed by channel. We enable brands to reach consumers wherever they shop, with a unified experience, and quantify the value of their offline customers, generating millions in new revenue for brands.
Brands with more data are better for consumers, brands and retailers,” said the co-founder, quoted in a statement.
