A three-day US roadshow ‘Living in Portugal’ organised by the Open Media Group and which ran on Thursday, February 9 and Saturday, February 11 was a “great success” according to Bruce Hawker, the publishing group’s CEO.

The event in Los Angeles and San Francisco provided Californians interested in moving to Portugal or investing in the country with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives of 14 companies from Portugal.
A total of 688 people registered to attend the events, ensuring a healthy turn-out with all the participating companies reporting serious interest from potential customers.
The events started with a welcome dinner hosted by Open Media in Los Angles for 40 guests, including representatives of the companies taking part in the roadshow and attended by Portugal’s Honorary Consul for Los Angles, Paulo Menezes.
The companies taking part were: Medal (insurance), Blacktower (finance and tax), The Sovereign Group (residency), Casas do Barlavento (estate agents), Ombria Resort (developers), Quinta do Lago (developers), Martinhal Group (developers), CMS (law), BlueCrow (investment funds), Dengun (tech), Castelhana (real estate), Fine & Country (Real estate), Currencies 4 You (Forex) and the Kronos Group (developers).
