Bright Pixel invests in Fyde

 In News, Start-Up

Bright Pixel, a Portuguese technology investment company, has taken part in a €2 million fund-raising round for US post-seed startup Fyde.

Fyde is a disruptive US startup with a Portuguese DNA that wants to revolutionise the way users remotely and securely access their company’s servers.
The Vice President of Fyde’s Engineering Department, Luísa Lima, says that the “team is very excited to have Portuguese investors on board the project.”
The investment will help Fyde to expand its team in Porto by taking on fresh talent in the areas of engineering, product and sales, contributing towards the sustainable development of the company.
Since most of Fyde’s team is based in Porto, the startup is counting on Bright Pixel to help it get further involved in the Portuguese company ecosystem as well as supporting Fyde’s European go-to-market strategy.
In addition to Luísa Lima, the company was co-founded in 2017 by another Portuguese, José Luís Pereira who is the Chief Technology Officer.
Bright Pixel has now completed its second investment round in a US startup in which also invested Portugal Ventures, Draper Nexus, Vetex Venture and Wells Fargo.
The Portuguese technology company is thereby increasing its cybersecurity portfolio. The company describes itself a group of experienced builders, creative thinkers and investors, whose goal is to transform two key things: the way companies address innovation and how new ventures are put together.
