Elegant looks to attract Brazil market

Portugal’s Elegant Group, which develops and manages luxury residential developments and resorts, is looking to attract investment from the Brazilian market.

Aware of the growing investment in real estate by Brazilians in the Portuguese market looking for a bolt hole from political and economic uncertainties in Brazil, the Elegant Group has listed Brazil as one of the market priorities for the launch of Martinhal Residences – the group’s new development in Parque das Nações, Lisbon.
Chitra Stern, founder and CMO of the Elegant Group is on a five-day road show to divulge the opportunities for property investment in luxury living in the calm, secure and popular Portuguese capital.
Thaya Marcondes, Business Development Manager of Martinhal Residences joins the Martinhal founder for a round of intense business meetings.
The Elegant Group has invested €130 million on two plots of land totalling 13,000 m2 in Parque das Nações, and will become 2 developments: one with 12 floors destined to house the headquarters of the Ageas Insurance company; the other with 14 floors will become a top-quality apart-hotel called Martinhal Residences.
“This is the most luxurious product that we have ever developed and we are looking forward to pressing ahead with this top-quality product,” says Chitra Stern.
Founded by Chitra and Roman Stern in 2010, the Elegant Group began its activities with the Martinhal Sagres Beach Family Resort in Sagres in the Algarve region. Picking up awards such as the World Travel Awards – Europe’s Leading Villa Resort, World Travel Awards – Portugal’s Leading Family Resort and Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice, the brand has gone from strength to strength to have today the Martinhal Quinta Family Golf Resort at Quinta do Lago, the Martinhal Chiado Family Suites five-star apart-hotel in the centre of Lisbon, the 5-star Martinhal Cascais Family Hotel located in Cascais as well as an Ed-Hub with an international school — the United International School of Lisbon near Parque das Nações with a capacity of 900 pupils.
