CBRE rents Liberty Seguros building to Cuatrecasas

The property consultants CBRE have rented the building which used to house Liberty Seguros and which will now become the new home of Iberian law firm Cuatrecasas.

In the deal CBRE acted as the representative of the building’s owner, the Explorer Real Estate I fund.Iconic because of its façade of inverted windows and impressive views over the River Tagus, the building located on Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo Nº6, has 12 floors above ground spread over 12,000 m2 of interior space.
It is located close to one of the urban centres of the city and Eduardo VII Park – one of Lisbon’s main green areas.
André Almada, Senior Director of A&T Offices at CBRE said that this is a “good example of strategic business for CBRE and will strengthen the relevance of occupying one of the most iconic office buildings in the centre of Lisbon. We are proud to have been involved in another operation that show the quality of CBRE services in this segment.”
Cuatrecasas will rent around 7,700 m2 of the office and expects to move its headquarters to Fontes Pereira de Melo within a year where it will have modern, high-tech facilities.
