The real estate developer Corporgest has invested €6.2 million in a new development in the heart of Lisbon’s Chiado district.

It involves the refurbishment of an 18th century building at Rua Ivens 30. The residential project comprises seven floors, one of which is underground, with the building being completely gutted apart from the main façades which have been restored.
With a gross construction area of 1,695m2, the residential building has three three-bed apartments and a four-bed duplex with areas varying from between 182m2 and 291m2.
The architectural project was carried out by a team from Corporgest headed by Nuno Pais Ministro. The developer has emphasised the outdoor spaces on the first floor with its 77 metre terrace with a private pool as well as the duplex apartment terrace with a view over Lisbon and St. Jorge’s Castle.
There are also seven double parking spaces spread over two floors of garage space, one of which is enclosed, and five storage facilities.
“Ivens 30 is the perfect combination between the classic and the modern in an exceptional area of Lisbon. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the development oozes elegance and quality which are the two hallmarks in all of our projects,” says Sérgio Ferreira, CEO of Corporgest.
He believes that despite the “unprecedented challenge posed by the current pandemic and the inevitable economic crisis to follow, we continue to believe that solid real estate investments from the acquisition of unique and distinct products will hold their value and bring a lasting return.”
In the case of the Ives 30 development, all of the 30 apartments have been sold in the €6.2 million project.
