Porto Office Park ‘Best Office Development’ of the year
Porto Office Park, designed by Broadway Malyan for the Viola Ferreira Group, has been awarded the distinction of being the Best Office Development of the Year at the property awards Prémios do Imobiliário.
Sponsored by the newspaper Expresso and TV’s SIC Notices, the development comprises two symmetrical buildings surrounded by an urban park sets a new standard for Porto’s office market and has already attracted a whole host of high profile companies ranging from the financial and legal areas to information technology, some of them occupying two floors.
Stuart Rough, Chairman of multinational Broadway Malyan which is based in Lisbon, stresses that this development not only integrates the latest and most important office trends, such as sustainability and wellbeing, but also reflects growing confidence in the national office market.

The two buildings cover a total area of 31,086 m2 with nine floors above ground for each and three floors below ground with parking. A second phase of the project envisages a third building which has just received planning permission from the city council and is earmarked for sports, leisure, lifestyle, and restaurant areas to complement the park areas and office buildings.
