The French developer Nexity is to begin works this summer on its Turquesa project — a residential development at Dafundo in the municipality of Oeiras.

The project, which involves a €26 million investment, is the second from Nexity after it returned to the Portuguese market in 2020 from which it had withdrawn in 2008. Last year Nexity launched Flower Tower in Leça da Palmeira.
The new development will have a gross construction area of 6,576m2 for 61 apartments from studio flats to four-bedroom apartments +1.
The company estimates that the project will be completed in the second quarter of 2023 and that the works will start between July and September this year.
The apartments were officially put on the market on Tuesday, but 30%, or 18 homes were reserved ‘off plan’ from a pre-sales period made up of subscribed clients on its database.
Prices range between €182,000 and €1.4 million, with Nexity describing the development as “a “diversified housing offer, not only designed for young people starting out, but also families and investors.”
The project also involves two small commercial spaces and public parking.
“Our project Turquesa in Dafundo bolsters our ambition to create a city for all. Even in the pandemic, Nexity Portugal has not scaled down its activities and now we are launching our second project within this pandemic context”, says Fernando Vasco Costa, Managing Director of Nexity Portugal, quoted in a communiqué.
