5 business schools make FT list

Portugal offers five of the best Masters in Finance post-graduate degree courses in the world according to the Financial Times.

And the Novo SBE business school near Lisbon has the best classification of all the Masters in Finance courses in Portugal, joining the Financial Time’s “elite group”.
All of the five business schools that are in the ranking – Nova SBE, Católica, ISEG, FEP, and ISCTE moved up the rank compared to the previous year.
ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management – rose 1 place on 2021 to make it into the Top 35 at 34, but Nova SBE led by Daniel Traça climbed three positions to 11th place, earning it a position in the FT’s ‘elite group’.
Católica – Lisbon School of Business and Economics – is now in the Top 20 at 17, while the University of Porto’s Faculty of Economy (FEP) also made the ranking.
“The results of this ranking go to show that Nova SBE’s ambition to be in the Top 10 of best Masters in Finance degrees in the world according to the Financial Times is possible. It was a commitment that we made with Portuguese society and we are meeting it”, said Daniel Traça, the Dean of Nova SBE.
ISCTE – the Business Institute of Lisbon rose 10 places to now occupy 41 on the FT list.
Finally, the University of Porto’s Faculty of Economy made its debut in the FT ranking at 49 for the 2022 edition.
The Ranking ‘Masters in Finance 2022’ ranks the 55 best Masters in Finance degrees worldwide, according to 19 indicators that classify the quality of the masters and the business school according to three key elements: graduate career progression, school diversity, and research and international experience.
