The Larfa Group is to invest €77 million in an urban regeneration project in Lisbon’s Eastern Beato neighbourhood.

The developer is currently focused on developing the Beato Quarter residential project and it is also investing €40 million in Melides.
The first project from the international real estate investors and developers involves doing up and converting a XVIth century convent in a plan to create a venue for events of up to 5,000 people.
Work has already begun on building the residential development Beato Quarter which will breathe new life into a neighbourhood that has number of new residential and startup developments.
“It is one of the most interesting developments in Lisbon with buildings from different epochs and in different architectural styles” says Stéphane Delplancq, CEO of the group.
“The “new” Convento do Beato (Beato Convent) is now fitted out and prepared to be one of the best places in Lisbon to host events not only from the capital but also European ones”.
“Our aim is to position the Convento do Beato as a modern and attractive place to receive any type of event and for this we have fitted it out with new facilities and equipment and have installed the necessary improvements for its functioning without, however, ruining buildings that are remarkable from a heritage and architectural point of view”, he told Dinheiro Vivo.
