Carolina Afonso makes Forbes list

The CEO of Portuguese kitchen and household accessories chain Gato Preto (Living Spaces) Carolina Afonso has been distinguished by Forbes as one of the 50 most powerful Portuguese leaders in the business world.

The selection was made from 110 women based on five key criteria: power of decision making, power to influence, countries market presence, geographical activity area, and entrepreneurialism. 

Forbes says that Carolina Afonso has had a remarkable professional path showing excellence in leadership in her position as CEO of Gato Preto. Forbes also says that her strategic vision and ability to take decisions has been behind the success of the company’s growth. Under her leadership, Gato Preto has expanded its presence and consolidated as a benchmark brand in the sector.
