EDP boss promises record Brazil investment
The CEO of Portugal’s energy giant EDP, Miguel Stilwell has promised a record investment in EDP Brasil to the tune of €6Bn to 2028.
The EDP CEO and new chairman of EDP Brasil following the IPO says that the company will generate an additional 1.5 GW of renewable energy in Brazil after investing in green hydrogen.
As to the IPO, Miguel Stilwell says in an interview with Negócios that the price of EDP Brasil shares (23.75 Reis/€4.41) is not a reflection of the value of the business and adds that in the short term EDP will be able to secure 100% of the company’s capital.
