ORIA Real Estate Advisors officially launches in Lisbon
Lisbon-based luxury concierge real estate agency ORIA Real Estate Advisors had its official launch party on Thursday at its offices in Avenida da Liberdade.
Portugal’s luxury residential market has continued to grow over the past few years, attracting investors to Portugal despite the end of the government’s Golden Visa programme’s property investment option.
The CEO of ORIA Real Estate Investors, Joana Branquinho decided to capitalise on this niche market by opening a 360º concierge real estate service based on an excellent and discreet service.
The company, which was relaunched from Tamea International after a major rebranding, has managed to attract a portfolio of top clients from the US, Brazil, Middle East and Europe who seek out a concierge service in which every aspect is taken care of, not only in looking for a acquiring a property as a healthy investment, but also regarding the entire relocation to Portugal process which is not always easily found in the market.
Clients from the United States make up the lion’s share, although ORIA has had clients of over 30 nationalities, including Portuguese who are investing in the luxury segment of the national housing market.
“We aim to get a very detailed profile of the client to match their needs and select the best options available and filter out the less attractive choices in their specific cases and create a long-term relationship with the client.
“We’ve never seen so much demand for large well-appointed properties of anything between 150m2 and 340m2”, she says.
The company began as Tamea International and was founded by British entrepreneur Tariq El-Asad in 2012.
Joana joined the firm seven years ago and the two built up the business with a strong focus on international buyers.
Most of the clients are referral based from international partners or friends of past clients or other contacts with repeat business from existing clients a not unusual phenomenon.
“Today there are lots of real estate agencies offering various services but there aren’t many like ours that offer a seamless 360º bespoke service” says CEO Joana Branquinho who now owns and manages the business after a management buyout in 2022.
Speaking at the cocktail launch event Joana Branqinho told Essential Business: ” It was a great launch event with over 100 people stoping by to the office in Avenida da Liberdade top floor. This was a lovely opportunity for us to show clients, developers and partners where we work and also celebrate this relaunch of the new rebranding”.
