Interest rates on Portuguese sovereigns fall across the board
Interest rates on Portuguese sovereign debt fell on two, five and 10-year bonds, following the lead of Spain and Ireland.
According to Lusa, At 8:35 am in Lisbon, interest on10-year bonds fell to 2.517%, a low since December 27, 2023, from 2.531% on Friday. Interest on five-year bonds fell to 2.036%, a low since September 12, 2022, from 2.045% in the previous session. In the same direction, interest on two-year bonds fell to 2.004%, a minimum since October 28, 2022, against 2.014%.
Interest rates on Germany’s 10-year bonds, considered the safest in Europe, also fell to 2.039% from 2.086% in the previous session.
