This year’s 3rd Ireland-Portugal Business Network Dublin Innovation Conference stands out as one of the network’s standout events held this year.

Held at the Guinness Enterprise Centre in Dublin, the event brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, and innovators from Ireland and Portugal, this year’s conference explored the theme ‘Food, Health & Wellness,’ showcasing how science, technology, and cross-border collaboration are helping shape the future of our food systems and human health.

Throughout the morning, delegates heard from an outstanding lineup of speakers who shared practical insights into evidence-based nutrition, food innovation, sustainable food production, export development, and the opportunities technology is creating across the food and drink sector. The event also provided valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge-sharing, and building new connections between the Irish and Portuguese business communities.

Among the key ideas discussed were: developing evidence-based nutritional solutions that enhance human health, performance, and longevity; science-driven wellness for modern lifestyles, and transforming the future of FoodTech and Health.

‘From the land to the table’ – was a panel conversation around bringing quality-assured food to the table while making a real difference to those who produce it.

There were also discussions about export development, business strategy, and international market entry for Food & Drink start-ups and SMEs.

The conference highlighted the work done on the above mentioned topics in Ireland and Portugal with guest speakers from both countries in order to develop partnership and cooperation between the two countries for a better future from an environmental, social, sustainable and economic aspects.
