After sprucing up its fleet of aircraft with 53 new Airbus NEO planes, the national carrier is about to spice up its on-board menus.

The company which is never far from the headlines has announced a new partnership with The Art of Tasting Portugal to showcase cuisine from different regions of Portugal in its business class.
According to Simple Flying, the partnership has already introduced a new menu on long haul international flights in an initiative that will run for two years.
Called ‘Local Stars’ business class passengers will be served meals for Portuguese and local chefs in a partnership that will run until 2025.
It was a piece of positive news for the airline which tends to get bashed in the Portuguese media.
This week it was reported that a BMW chauffeur-driven car used to ferry around the outgoing CEO Christine Ourmìeres-Widener was found burnt out in Alfragide, in Amadora. The PJ police is investigating the fire which looks to be the result of youths setting fire to a rubbish container by the car on Wednesday in the early hours.
