Torel Palace Lisbon voted Best Boutique Hotel in Publituris Portugal Travel Awards 2025

The Torel Palace Lisbon was voted the Best Boutique Hotel at the 20th edition of the Publituris Portugal, one of the most prestigious awards for the tourism sector in Portugal.

The ceremony for the awards took place on July 3 at the Hotel Vila Galé Collection hotel in Elvas.

Organised by the publication Publituris, the Portugal Travel Awards recognise each year companies, hotels, institutions and professionals that most stood out in the sector over the past 12 months.

In 2025, 177 were nominated in 22 categories, subject to a vote from a specialised jury comprising subscribers to the paper edition of the daily Publituris newspaper.

The distinction of the Torel Palace Lisbon as the Best Boutique hotel is recognition of the consistent work from the team in providing a unique hotel experience in terms of charm, comfort and top-quality service in which the past blends with the sophistication of today.

The hotel has seen a growing recognition both nationally and international. Its gastronomy restaurant 2 Monkeys has a Michelin star.

Torel Palace Lisbon is part of the Torel Boutiques group, a small collection of prestigious hotels in Portugal, with units in Lisbon, Porto, Douro and, since May, also in Guimarães.
