Algarve hosts M&I Forum Europe

The Algarve will host one of the world’s largest ‘Meeting Industry’ events, M&I Forum Europe Algarve, between 18-21 April.

Organised by Worldwide Events, the forum expects to welcome over 500 participants at the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura and Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort.

“This is a privileged meeting point between suppliers and potential clients in this segment with 500 renowned participants from all over the world who over four days will get the opportunity to join meetings and networking events with a view to doing business,” states the Algarve Tourism Association (ATA), the agency which is supporting this event.

Dora Coelho, Executive Director of the ATA, says that the fact that the Algarve has been the destination of choice to host this forum will strengthen the region’s position and international recognition as an attractive option for the tourism business segment.

The event will also include a leisure programme which aims to publicise some of the experiences that make the Algarve a destination with a difference, such as golf, bike trails, boat trips, dolphin spotting, visits to caves, wine-tasting or local handicraft and artisan activities.
