Vodafone €1Bn turnover in Portugal

Vodafone Portugal’s revenues increased 3.1% in Q4 2017 making over €1Bn for the year.

 

It was the tenth consecutive quarter that the telecoms operator saw increased turnover.

Revenues from services topped €232 million at the end of March, representing a like-for-like growth of 3.1% on Q4 2016.

In the same period, total revenues saw a 3% uptick to €246 million.  In 2017 the number of fixed service customers reached 657,000 while the number of 4G customers stood at 1.7 million.

Mário Vaz, CEO of Vodafone Portugal said, “Vodafone Portugal ended the financial year 2017-2018 completing 10 consecutive quarters of growth, fruit of the strategy it has adopted and the capacity of the company to positively respond to growing market challenges.”

For the year 2017-2018 Service Revenues were €950 million representing a 4.6% increase on 2016 while Total Revenues rose 3.3% passing the €1Bn mark.
