Following the overwhelming success of the second edition of international wine industry conference ‘MUST – Fermenting Ideas’ last month, dates have now been set for the third edition of the conference which will again take place in Estoril on the 26, 27 and 28 June 2019.

The Must wine summit is the first event of its kind to bring all wine experts together to discuss the future of the industry.

Dubbed the “Web Summit of Wines” the conference is considered a unique opportunity to contact international movers and shakers in the wine industry and debate and reflect on the challenges, trends and opportunities in the sector.

The MUST – Fermenting Ideas wine summit will be held at the Estoril Congress Centre and will bring together the most important international wine industry specialists — from research, production, sales, wine tourism, marketing and even the challenges of climate change on the industry.

The event is organised by Rui Falcão, one of the most respected wine critics in Portugal and consultant, writer and conference speaker and Paulo Salvador, journalist, editor and TVI television channel executive. The event is also supported by Cascais Town Council and the Portuguese Tourist Board (Turismo de Portugal).

The June summit included guest speaker Heini Zachariassen, founder of Vivino – an online wine community data base — who explained the  uses of the application which is used worldwide and has 29 million registered users as well as Martin Brown, founder and CEO of Wine-Searcher, the largest wine data base in the world.
