TAP opens three new routes for 2019

Tel Aviv, Dublin and Basle are among the new flight routes for TAP Portugal for 2019.

TAP will fly to the three new destination from April 2019 which according to the airline are being sold on flytap.com from 10 September.

According to the CEO of TAP, Antonaldo Neves, the opening of these three destinations is yet another step on the road to strong strategic growth that the company has been following in recent years and plans to maintain.

The Tel Aviv flight will be carried out in an A321 Long Range with 168 passenger capacity. Flights will be daily, departing from Lisbon at 2.20pm and arriving in Tel Aviv at 9.30pm. On the return flight, the service leaves Tel Aviv at 5.50am and arrives in Lisbon at 9am.

Flights to Dublin are operated in A319 and A320 planes with capacities for 144 and 168 passengers respectively with departures from Lisbon at 9.50am  and 4.45pm. Return flights are at 10.35am and 5.30pm. The flights back to Lisbon are at 1.15pm and 8.10pm.

From April TAP will also operate flights to Basle in Switzerland, with two daily flights at 10.20am and 7.30pm with return flights at 11.05am and 20.15pm landing at 1pm and 10.10pm respectively.

With the launch of these three new routes, TAP now flies to 91 airports, 88 cities and 36 countries.
