Ronaldo to open Pestana CR7 in Paris

The world’s most famous footballer is to open the sixth CR7 hotel in Paris in 2021.

 

The Paris hotel which bears Cristiano Ronaldo’s brand CR7 will be the largest so far of the Pestana CR7 Lifestyle Hotels at an investment of €60 million.

 

The new hotel is to be located in Rive Gauche, next to the River Sena, between the Austerlitz and Lyon stations.

 

The Pestana CR7 Lifestyle Hotel, Paris will be ready for opening in 2021 and boast 210 rooms.

 

“It makes sense for the Pestana CR7 brand to be in Paris, one of the most visited cities in the world and a destination which makes the perfect ‘match’ with the concept of the brand’s elegance and sophistication” states Ronaldo in a communiqué.

 

According to the business daily Negócios, the €60 million will be a joint investment between the footballer and the Portuguese multinational hotel group which has hotels and resorts in Portugal, Madeira, Brazil and the UK.

 

The project is currently at the preliminary planning permission stage.

The Pestana CR7 Lifestyle Hotels brand currently has two hotels — in Lisbon and Funchal, Madeira, but the brand also plans openings in New York, Marrakesh, Madrid with Paris being the sixth hotel planned by the Pestana Group.

 

The Pestana Group as a whole has 90 hotels in 15 countries.
