British-Portuguese Chamber hands out long-membership diplomas
The British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) handed out long-service diplomas to five of its long-standing members at a lunch with the new British Ambassador to Portugal, Chris Sainty on Thursday.
The companies were: BPCC Loyal Membership Trophies – Winners: Accountbook – Contabilidade & Assessoria Fiscal, UNip, Rui Miguel Guerreiro; Unicâmbio – Agência de Câmbios, S.A., Carlos Lilaia; PLEN – Sociedade de Advogados, RL, Tiago Ferreira de Lemos, Cuatracasas, Gonçalves Pereira & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados, SP, RL, Dr. João Mattamouros Resende; BP – Portugal – Comércio de Combustíveis e Lubrificantes, (75 years) Pedro Oliveira. The awards were handed out by the British Ambassador Chris Sainty and the President of the BPCC Board, Filipe Lowndes-Marques.
Filipe Lowndes Marques said that the BPCC was privileged to have today with us five members that are long-standing members and supporters of the chamber and that the ambassador had kindly agreed to officially hand out the diplomas.
Regarding BP’s 75th membership year, Lowndes Marques referred to the company as “a long-term supporter and friend” of the chamber and “one of our corporate members.”
“We are privileged to have had that support for 75 years and hopefully someone will be here to hand over their diploma for 150 years.”
