Douro Palace to be revamped

The Douro Palace Hotel Resort & Spa in Baião is to be given a facelift by its owners Jase Hotels & Resorts.

The four-star hotel will be subject to a rennovation process which will include a total redecoration of the hotel both in terms of rooms and public rooms.

According to Luis Mendes, Managing Director the project which should be completed by May or June will also include the “creation of a new indoor pool for adults and children. This is our group’s largest project for this year.”

The hotel will also borden its range of activities for guests to include cookery lessons for both groups and individuals.

Jase Hotels & Resorts also has the five-star Douro Royal Valley, also in Baião, and the four-star Porto Royal Bridges which opened in December 2018 in Porto.
