Roff, Teleperformance and Santander lead Best Companies to Work list

Roff, Mars, SAS Institute Software, Mundipharma, OnRising, Estoril Sol Digital, SEG Automotive Portugal, Nissan Iberia, LG Electronics Portugal and MORE Portugal are among the best places to work in Portugal according to a league table.
The selection was made by Great Place to Work (a specialist in studying work environments and employee satisfaction) and is dominated by service sector and information technology companies.
In the list the companies are put into four categories in line with the size of their workforces: less than 100 staff, between 101 and 500 staff, 501-1000 staff and over 1000 staff.
In the first group, Mars is the company whose work environment tops the list for the fifth time with the designation “Great Place to Work in Portugal” and also won an award for sex equality in the workplace.
In this category SAS Institute Software, Mundipharma, OnRising, Estoril Sol Digital, SEG Automotive Portugal, Nissan Ibéria, LG Electronics Portugal, 3M Portugal and MORE Portugal are also distinguished.
In the case of companies with 100-500 employees, Mind Source came out top as the best company to work for.
Other companies in that category included Janssen Portugal, Cisco Systems Portugal, AbbVie, Medtronic Portugal, Growin, Webhelp Braga, Bayer Portugal, Carglass and INFINEON.
ROFF topped the rank for 500-1000 employee companies which since 2009 has opened offices in Angola, Paris, Stockholm, Casablanca, São Paulo, Macau, Switzerland, Mexico and Singapore.
For the big companies with over 1000 staff, the leaders were Teleperformance Portugal and Banco Santander.
Great Place to Work evaluates the working environments in around 60 countries around the world in various sectors including commerce, heath, industry, financial services and information technology.
