New chairman takes the helm at IPBN

After three years as chairman of the IPBN (Ireland Portugal Business Network) Tony Boyle is to stand down.

Boyle, who will now assume the role of Honorary President of the IPBN, hands the baton over Aoife Healy.
“I am very proud of the work we have done in establishing the IPBN and growing the membership and profile of the network during this time, hosting events and activities that have connected the Portuguese and Irish communities, generating interest and value for our members,” said Boyle.
“I am sure that the Board, under the chairmanship of Aoife Healy and the continued support of the Embassy of Ireland and the Portuguese and Irish State agencies, will continue the successful growth of the IPBN and achievement of our aim of increasing trade between Ireland and Portugal” he added.
Aoife Healey, partner of Pathway Consulting, is based in Lisbon, drawing on over 25 years of experience in a variety of industries and organisations to offer strategy and management consulting services, including coaching to SMEs, startups and micro-businesses.
New Board members appointed are Susan Cabeceiras, Diogo Ivo Cruz, Gréag Purcell, Mario Gago and Sam Pinnington.
The IPBN’s Algarve Sub-Committee welcomed two new members: marketeer and entrepreneur Andrew Coutts (ILM) and Amy O’Reilly from MESPIL both of whom are leading its next event in the Algarve on 30 May on the theme of the “Circular Economy & Smart Sustainability Development – the future of the Algarve”.
