Selina Navis Cowork opens in Porto

A new co-work project from Selina has opened in the ‘Edifício Árabe’ in Porto.

The new space, which is exclusively dedicated to co-working, covers around 700 m2 with 90 places fo co-work in 5 offices.
Located in the centre of Porto, in Rua José Falcão, the ‘199 Project’ is the latest project from the Groupo Selina and represents a €500,000 investment.
On the ground floor, a bar and multiuse room will be installed for events, conferences and art exhibitions.
The ‘Edifício Árabe’ (Arab Building) is a flagship property in Arabesque style and which was built in 1908 and formed part of the Devesas industrial complex opened in 1865 as one of the most important ceramic centres on the Iberian peninsula.
Selina’s total investment in Portugal to date will stand at around €250 million by 2020. Over the next four years, Selina plans to open more than 20 hotels in Portugal with around 7,500 beds. The international chain is also looking for national investors in the real estate area, with know-how of the Portuguese market that can partner in its growing expansion of the brand in Portugal.
