With just one week to go before the 22nd edition of the Portugal Property Fair (SIL 2019), the two pavilions set aside for stands are almost completely full.

So far, 380 exhibitors have already confirmed their presence, including all of the big Portuguese developers and players in the Portuguese real estate market — a number that has beaten all records in previous years.
The fair, which runs at Lisbon’s trade fairs venue FIL at Parque das Nações between 10-13 of October, is enjoying a growth of 20% in relation to the previous year. There is an increase of 72.12% in real estate developers alone and a 7.6% increase in estate agencies in relation to 2018.
This edition will bring the most expensive house ever to come onto the market with a price tag of €6 million.
SIL 2019, organised by the Portuguese Industrial Association (AIP Foundation) is a meeting ground for market players with a number of new concepts and events this year.
SIL VILLAGE is a premium space set aside for networking, where deals can be negotiated and struck in a friendly and informal environment and which is open during the lunch and dinner hours for companies, partners, real estate groups, bankers, insurers, consultants and events organisers.
The 10th will focus on SIL INVESTMENTPRO powered by APPII, with a conference entitled ‘The Real Estate Market within the International Economic Context – The Greatest Challenges facing International Investors – New Forms of Tourism’. The event is organised by SIL in partnership with the APPII – Portuguese Association of Real Estate Developers and Investors, the AIP Foundation and is partnered with Century 21.
On the 11th another hot topic will be debated at SIL2019: ‘Brexit: The Impact on Residential Tourism? The conference is organised by SIL with the help of APR – Portuguese Association of Resorts, APEMIP – Portuguese Association of Estate Agents and Real Estate Professionals, and the newspaper Expresso.
Both conferences will take place in pavilion 2 at FIL.
Another novelty this year is the first edition of ‘Women in Property’ which will run on 11 October at 4.30pm in the SIL What’s New Auditorium (Pavilion 3) and which is organised by SIL and Diário Imobiliário and will be a conversation between various women who have been working in a largely male dominated sector.
