Portugal as a brand worth €190Bn claims consultant

Portugal’s value as a brand has grown 3% to €194Bn (US$214Bn) with a total of 75 points out of 100.

This is according to the ranking Nations Brands 2019 from consultants Brand Finance.
In a ranking of 100 countries compiled by Brand Finance, Portugal comes in 48th position ahead of countries like Egypt, Peru, Hungary, Slovakia, Luxembourg and Greece.
However, countries like Romania, South Africa, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Iran, Vietnam and Qatar were all ahead of Portugal in the league tables.
From among the 100 most valuable brands in the world, Portugal is in 48th place in a list led by the United States, China, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, India, Canada, South Korea and Italy which were all in the top 10.
