The Algarve’s Monte da Quinta Resort has been renamed and rebranded as the Wyndham Grand Algarve.

The change took effect from 1 January 2020 since the luxury resort is now part of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and its brand Wyndham Grand.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has 9000 hotels and 20 distinct brands spread over 80 countries worldwide.
This year the company will invest around €5 million at the resort by totally refurbishing its 132 suites, installing a modern new gym (now complete), restaurants, public areas and a spa. By the end of 2020 it will open a new fine dining restaurant and lobby bar.
The goal is to turn the Wyndham Grand Algarve into one of the most luxurious and distinct hotels in the award-winning Quinta do Lago resort. The hotel is currently managed by General Director Maarten de Boer.
“The hotel´s stunning transformation makes a more attractive base for exploring Quinta do Lago. Our future is bright, and our growing team is eager to continue this adventure alongside our guests” he said.
“Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is the largest hotel franchise company in the world operating 20 brands. Wyndham Grand’s beautiful destinations around the world combine premium amenities, restaurants, and spas with sophisticated architectural design to leave a lasting impression. This is the first Wyndham Grand in the Iberian Peninsula providing an incredible opportunity to introduce something new to the market, our dedicated partners, and our valuable guests” added Maarten de Boer.
