Algarve gears up for Marina de Vilamoura International Boat Show

The Algarve’s Marina de Vilamoura will host the Marina de Vilamoura International Boat Show from 6-14 June.

The event, which has run annually since 1999, will attract all kinds of boats and yachts, both new and second hand, by land and by sea, as well as sales reps for all brands, accessories, equipment and integrated services linked to the pleasure boating sector.
The examples and samples on display will enable visitors to directly experience and test equipment in a practical and convenient way, with personalised welcome for both customers and visitors within a natural harbour setting.
Speaking about this year’s event, Isolete Correia, Director of Marina de Vilamoura said that the “goals of the Marina de Vilamoura International Boat Show was to once again bring together all the main players and operators in the sector in a stunning setting, thereby having all the best conditions to create a water-borne boat show similar to what is seen in other international markets”.
The Vilamoura Marina is the most awarded Marina in Portugal and attendees will be able to view and test all classes of watercraft on display. Entry is free and the show is open from 11am to 9pm.
The exhibition will undoubtedly feature boats from some of the most prestigious brands in the world: All Costum, Astondoa, Axopar, Bali Catamarans, Beneteau, Brig, Bryant, Cap Ferret, Capelli, Chaparral, Cobalt, Cranchi, Dipol, Evo, Fairline, Glastron. Grand Bank, Greenline, Jeanneau, Joker Boat, Maxum, Monterey, Princess, Riamar, Rodman, San Remo, Sealver, Sessa, Sanlorenzo, Sunchaser. Sunseeker, Waverunner, Windy and Yamaha.
With around 825 mooring points, the Marina de Vilamoura is undoubtedly the best place to host an international event of this size and kind, having won various international awards and being a reference on the nautical leisure and sports landscape both nationally and internationally.
New this year is a segment dedicated to lifestyle with the introduction of an exhibition of cars, fashion items and decorations which complement the recreational boating industry. The event is organised by Marina de Vilamoura and FIL – Feira Internacional de Lisboa (Lisbon International Trade Fair – FIL).
