UI appoints new CFO

Rogério Pereira is the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the United Investments, the group which owns Pine Cliffs Resort, Sheraton Cascais Resort, Quinta Marques Gomes, Hyatt Regency Lisboa and YOTEL Porto.

The growth of the corporate structure of UIP is therefore keeping pace with the expansion and solidity of the group in the areas of construction and development, real estate and hotel unit management as well as development with a mixed-use residential and hotel component.
With a vast experience in the sector, Rogério Pereira has been at UIP since 2014, where up until now he has acted as the group’s Financial Director.
Pereira began his career in 2004 at Vila Sol Spa & Golf Resort in Vilamoura as an accountant and later as a accounts comptroller, having also worked at MGM Muthu Hotels (Petchey Leisure), in Albufeira, where he worked as an Internal Auditor and later as the Assistant to the Executive Financial Director.
“It is with great pride that I embrace this new stage in my career. This appointment represents a great professional challenge, not just because of the growing size of the UIP Group nationally and internationally, but also because of the particularly sensitive period we are currently going through,” says Rogério Pereira who has a degree in Hotel Management from the University of the Algarve.
