GuestReady has purchased The Porto Concierge making it the market leader in Airbnb tourist accommodation in Portugal.

The short-term rental company announced the purchase this week at a press conference. It means that the new company resulting from the acquisition will manage a portfolio of over 1,000 properties, with a vast range of services that serve proprietors, real estate professionals and guests.
GuestReady and The Porto Concierge are two of the biggest names in the Portuguese tourist accommodation sector. GuestReady has had an active presence in Porto and Lisbon since 2018.
The Porto Concierge, which has 50 staff who will now join the new company, has been in the vanguard of tourist property management since it was founded in 2014.
In 2018, with a view to improving the experience of guests, it pioneered the introduction of welcome centres all over Porto so it could keep in touch with guests during their stay.
Rui Silva, founder and CEO of The Porto Concierge explaining his motivation for fusing with GuestReady, said, “We have been friendly competitors with GuestReady since 2018 and we know their team in Porto well.
“We had been seeking ways of joining forces for some time, since we knew that both companies are highly complementary. The industry is consolidating at an accelerated rate and by teaming up with the leader in AirBnB technology, was a big opportunity to grow and GuestReady has a lot of experience in acquisitions and we are thrilled to be able to now continue the journey together” he said.
GuestReady is a property management company headquartered in Trogen, Switzerland. Founded in 2016, it is active in Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia. It helps hosts manage their properties on Airbnb.
