The Madeira Promotion Association (APM) and Time Out have launched a digital hub with unique and exclusive content aimed at tourists thinking of visiting the island on holiday.

On the platform there are articles, lists and reports as well as an introduction — ‘Why Madeira?’. What’s the best time to visit? What should you know before traveling? There are also the experiences visitors can enjoy during their stay on the island.
Navigating the site visitors will discover gastro experiences, typical foods and drinks to try in addition to the Michelin star restaurants.
It also features leisure, adventure and sporting activities (country paths, the famous ‘levadas’ waterways, and perfect belvederes to see the sunsets.
The site provides information on swimming with dolphins, boats trips to the Ilhas Desertas and the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum.
Tourists will be able to book trips, visits and half and full-day programmes on the site. This new project is part of Time Out Portugal’s strategy to launch in new cities and regions in Portugal in addition to the current cities they cover – Lisbon and Porto.
The Madeira Promotion Association says the guide will provide continuity to its marketing strategy for the destination via multilingual platforms which can reach a vast number of users and provide potential visitors with even more quality and dynamic information and content which showcases Madeira’s potential.
