RRP Program Debate Series

The American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal kicks of a series of three breakfast debates this September on the allocation of the €16Bn European Union funds that make up Portugal’s Recovery and Resilience Program.

The first begins on 15 September with guest speaker Fernando Alfaiate who heads the Recover Portugal Structure Mission which will be followed by a debate moderated by Pedro Pires, CEO of the Montepio banking group of companies.

On the 22 September, Portugal’s ‘Recovery Tsar’ António Costa e Silva who is President of the National Commission for the Monitoring and Supervision of the RRP will discuss fund allocation which will be followed by a debate moderated by Pedro Rebelo de Sousa who is Managing Partner and Founder of lawfirm  SRS Advogados.

The last event takes place on 29 September with the guest speaker Nelson de Souza who is the Portuguese minister of Planning. The debate will be moderated by Miguel Eiras Antunes, a partner at Deloitte. All events will take place at the Hotel Marriott in Lisbon.
