The Portuguese proptech Relive has netted €1 million of seed investment led by the Portuguese VC investors Shilling Founders Fund.

According to Jornal Económico, the financing which will be used to equip a new generation of entrepreneurs in the real estate sector also involved US VCs and investors Accel, Bynd VC, Indico Capital Partners (Portugal) and the Portuguese public VC, Portugal Ventures.
The startup led by José Costa Rodrigues has a mobile platform which allows users to create, manage, and expand their own real estate businesses not unlike Uber: offering real estate agents what TVDE offers taxi drivers i.e., technology and access to bespoke projects.
At the start of the year, Relive was accepted by the accelerator Techstars, in Austin, Texas, being the only Portuguese startup out of the 12 selected.
The CEO says that Relive plans to expand in the US market after reaching more than 100 remote active property agents, around a 100 listings, and 50 completed property transactions in Portugal.
Relive market itself as “digital real estate” in that it has simplified the exhausting process of buying, selling or renting a house, using technology.
The startup is creating a trusted global brand focusing on simplifying the real estate journey, providing a digital, transparent and efficient experience.
“We believe that the real estate sector has not evolved properly in terms of technology, not having adequate systems to support those who want to buy, sell or rent a home. People expect a practical service, which is why we are building a digital platform that simplifies and adds to the real estate journey,” says the company.
