TAP Director quits
A TAP Portugal executive has handed in her notice at the airline to “pursue new projects”.
Alexandra Reis says she has decided to “close this chapter of my professional career and embrace fresh challenges”.
The announcement was made to the Portuguese securities market commission (CMVM) on Friday. It comes in effect on 28 February.
“Having been appointed by the previous stakeholders, and following the change in the company structure at TAP, Alexandra Reis, a TAP executive board member, today handed in her resignation, deciding to close this chapter of her professional life and embracing new challenges”, reads the communiqué sent to the CMVM.
TAP lost two members of its Financial Board last month after the resignation of Maria de Fátima Geada for “personal reasons”, and Sérgio Rodrigues without tendering a reason.
