Lisbon Travel Fair opens today

The Lisbon Travel Fair (Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa) returns to the exhibition and trade fair venue FIL after a two year absence because of Covid-19.

Now in its 32nd edition, it opened it doors at 10am today (16 March) at FIL in Parque das Nações. “…Expectations are high which reflect the recovery of the sector in Portugal. New exhibitors and trends reflect the organiser’s optimism for 2022, giving grounds for confidence for the success of this edition”, state the organisers.
The official ceremony for the opening of BTL took place today at 11am in the presence of the minister of State, the Economy and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira; the secretary of State of Tourism, Rita Marques; the president of Turismo de Portugal, Luís Araújo; the president of the AIP Foundation, Jorge Rocha de Matos; the general-director of Lisboa FCE, Maria João Rocha de Matos; the adjunct general director of Lisboa FCE, Pedro Braga and the manager of BTL, Dália Palma.
“This edition of BTL will have 1,400 exhibitors and around 60 destinations. In the first days the event will be aimed at professionals and from Friday afternoon the general public will be allowed in”, states a communiqué.
BTL will run until 20 March, from 10am to 7pm on Wednesday and Thursday; from 10am to 11pm on Friday and Saturday; and from 10am to 8pm on Sunday.
