Former AICEP president appointed president of ICPT consultative board

A former president of Portugal’s overseas investment and export bureau AICEP, Pedro Reis, has been appointed the president of the International Club of Portugal’s consultative committee.

Economist Reis will replace Choi Man Hin who will now become honorary president of the ICPT.

Pedro Reis, 54, has had a long career in both the public and private sector where he was the president of AICEP and the Francisco Sá Carneiro Institute, having also joined the National Council for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Council for Industry, posts which brought him various awards including the Directors of Tomorrow Award, the Best Leader Awards in Public Company Management and the commendation of Grand Official of the Order of Infante D. Henrique.
The International Club of Portugal now has the advice of Pedro Reis as president of its Consultative Board to assist in its being able to continue the club’s strong programme of activities, particularly the institution’s agenda which has a strong international component.
