Edge partner new IPBN chair

The senior Partner of legal firm Edge, Geoffrey Graham, has been appointed the new chair of the Ireland Portugal Business Network, one of the most dynamic business networks operating in Portugal.

Geoffrey was a founder member of the original network which was founded in 2007 and continued as a board member of the Board when the Network was relaunched in 2016 after the State visit of the President of Ireland.
The Network has the support of, amongst others, the Irish Embassy in Portugal, the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Portugal in Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and AICEP. It gives the opportunity to Irish and Portuguese people to connect and form partnerships and relationships which promote their businesses and, ultimately, increase trade between Portugal and Ireland. This is achieved through a variety of platforms including presentations by business leaders, conferencing events, focussed network events, member meet member events and conversations with political leaders. The prominent online profile of the Network also ensures that the core objectives of the Network, and indeed the Network members, are achieved.
Geoffrey will be seeking to continue the impressive work of his predecessors, and further the geographical reach of the network, increase its sustainability, increase its national and international profile and diversify the existing member sectors. For more information on the network have a look at the website www.ireland-portugal.com and IPBN website https://www.ireland-portugal.com
