Socialtalk, a Portuguese startup linked to influencer marketing has netted €700,000 in capital investment.

The company started in 2021 by Francisco Ascensão and Tiago Oliveira will use the capital to improve its technology that will enable brands to find the best ‘influencers’ for their target public. The investment will also help the startup to boost its team in technology areas, marketing and sales, as well as internationalising the business to the US.
Influencers have an increasing influence in the areas of marketing and publicity and this constant presence is slowly but surely being reflected in venture capital investment. The Portuguese startup was awarded the €770,000 to continue to develop its AI system which will allow brands to promote their products and services states the company’s co-founder in an interview with Jornal Económico.
“The goal is to democratise access to these commercial expansion tools. Typically, this is an area whose turnover is still fairly high for brands. We are treading the sam path that other areas of digital marketing have trodden”, said Francisco Ascensão.
Socialtalk helps companies to manage their Influencer database, or find new Influencers to work with, build campaigns and track posts, videos and stories automatically, as well as saving time by receiving automated measurement and reports.
