Pedro Oliveira new dean of Nova SBE

Pedro Oliveira, an innovation management professor at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, has been appointed as the new dean of Novo SBE, succeeding Daniel Traça who led the school for the past eight years.

Oliveira is also a visiting professor at Nova SBE where he holds a professorship at the Gulbenkian Foundation in Impact Economy, and is also a founder of the initiative Patient Innovation.
Pedro Oliveira will take up his post as the new dean at Nova SBE in the first quarter of 2023 until December 2026.
He is the author of dozens of articles and scientific publications in the areas of open and user innovation, patient innovation, operations and technology management, published in the best scientific magazines in their respective areas.
Nova SBE is one of two of the most prestigious business schools in Portugal and one of the main business schools in Europe.
English is the main teaching language with more than a half of its graduate courses and all of its masters courses, MBA and PhDs lectured in English.
