Portuguese IT supplier Claranet Portugal grew 77% by the end of June with a turnover of €200 million and plans to take on 100 staff.

“Maintaining investment in innovation, we will continue to grow and take on 100 technical staff despite the downturn that has been announced by various technology companies”, says Claranet Managing Director António Miguel Ferreira.
The company says the outlook for 2023 is optimistic and has led it to revise its recruitment strategy for the next six months to hire a further 100 engineering technicians with vacancies in cloud, security, applications, data, and artificial intelligence operations.
The new staff will have the opportunity of working in the company’s offices in Lisbon, Porto and Viseu with the possibility of working under a hybrid regime by working remotely.
“With these new contracts, Claranet will be able to meet a growing number of IT services contracts”, states the firm.
