The benefits of moving to Portugal will be discussed at two Living in Portugal events this and next month.

The Living in Portugal seminars organised by the Open Media Group will take place in Lisbon and Cascais on March 31 and 1 April respectively.
For newly arrived expats, or those planning on moving to Portugal, these events offer the chance to receive expert advice, first hand from a panel of speakers.
The events are free of charge to attend, with identical morning and afternoon sessions bringing together speakers on subjects such as residency (for non-EU nationals), taxation, health insurance, education, real estate and currency exchange.
Before and after each seminar session and during a coffee-break, guests have the chance to meet with the speakers and their team members in an exhibition area adjoining the seminar room.
The ‘Living in Portugal’ events are organised by the Open Media Group, publishers of the Portugal Resident newspaper.
Open Media’s seminar events started last year with four ‘Living in the Algarve’ seminars along the Algarve, followed by another across the border in Spain. This year, the company has a schedule packed with events that started in early February with a California roadshow taking in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The success of these first USA events laid the foundations for another stateside roadshow which will once again include San Francisco along with New York in late June.
In the meantime, the Lisbon and Cascais events will be followed by the first ‘Living in the Algarve’ event of the year taking place on April 19 at the Tivoli Carvoeiro Hotel. Further ‘Living in the Algarve’ events will be held later in the year in Lagos, Quinta do Lago, Vilamoura and Tavira whilst the autumn schedule of international events will be announced over the coming months.
