The healthcare unicorn Sword Health is to hire 300 professionals throughout this year.

The company started by Vírgilio Bento (pictured), which is considered a Harvard Business School case study, announced on Thursday that it would be recruiting around 150 staff. In Portugal the company already has 300 employees.
“Sword is expanding globally despite a downturn in the technologies sector. We are continuing to invest in Portugal and in Portuguese talent, and only by investing do we think we can fulfil our mission”, says Bento in a communiqué.
The company already is advertising posts and is receiving applications for jobs that can be carried out either remotely or in a hybrid regime.
For now, Sword Health is looking for IT, AI and Algorithm Engineers, but also staff in its financial, legal, communication, marketing, design, operations, and human resources departments.
Created in 2015, Sword Health develops digital services in the health area and has also created the first digital solution for the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions (MSK).
