The real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield has announced that it has won the control of a portfolio of four supermarkets in Portugal.

It brings the total area of commercial real estate assets under management by C&W to 590,000m2 for different asset classes.
The assets were acquired in May by Savills Investment Management after purchasing the four supermarket buildings covering 21,600m2 for €39 million that are in Castelo Branco, Gulpilhares, Nazaré and Olhão.
C&W has been selected to manage the assets in the portfolio on behalf of Savills MI. All of the four assets are long leased to the Continente brand of supermarkets held by the Sonae Group.
