Cofina valued at €58M for MBO

The pre-sale valuation for the anticipated management buyout of Cofina Media, which holds the newspaper and TV media Correio da Manhã, CMTV, Negócios, Record, and Sábado, to a group of investors, including some former and current directors, and footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, has revealed the company is worth €58 million, creating a capital gain of €8 million, according to a communiqué sent to the stock market regulator CMVM.

The investors involved in the MBO are: Luís Santana, Ana Dias, Octávio Ribeiro, Isabel Rodrigues, Carlos Rodrigues, Luís Ferreira, Carlos Cruz, Cristiano Ronaldo, Domingos Vieira de Matos, Paulo Fernandes and João Borges de Oliveira.
