Sword Health is fastest growing tech company

The Portuguese unicorn Sword Health is the fastest growing Portuguese technology company according to Deloitte.

The company was followed by Addvolt and Knok in the top 3 in the ranking of the first edition of ‘Technology Fast 50 Portugal’ organised by Deloitte.
The winning companies jointly achieved a business turnover of €550 million, with average growth of 400%.
Sword Health operates in the field of musculoskeletal disorders while Addvolt developed a solution that enables electrical energy freight lorries to be recycled produced and stored under controlled temperatures, and Knok operates in the field of telemedicine based on artificial intelligence.
In the top 10 were also Magic Beans, Twistag, Replai, Hijiffy, the Loop Co., Code for All, and Mediaprobe.
The top 50 companies jointly generated a business turnover of €550 million in 2022, up 265% on 2019, with exports of over €250 million (+179%). Staff numbers also increased by 141% to an aggregate total of €3,675.
In addition to the ranking of 50 companies, the CEO of Defined.ai, Daniela Braga won in the category ‘Women in Leadership, while Sensei, Bloq.it and Musiversal won in the ‘Rising Stars’ category.
