Exports from Portuguese-speaking countries to China at record level

Exports of goods from Portuguese speaking countries to China hit US$147.5Bn (€136.1Bn) in 2023 beating all records according to official data from Fórum Macau.

Exports increased 6.2% on 2022, mainly due to exports from Brazil, whose sales rose by 11.9% to €112.9Bn.
Inversely, exports from Angola fell 18.7% to €17.4Bn while sales from Portugal also fell by 4.1% to €2.60Bn.
